A few things that make your visit easy
Nothing complicated, and no small print. Here is how we work at the salon, so you know exactly what to expect before you sit in the chair.
You never pay before we start
Scammers ask you to pay upfront for a service you will never receive. We do the exact opposite. At Djehamie Hair Braiding, payment is due only once your braids are halfway done, when you can already see the work with your own eyes and judge it for yourself.
You arrive
Nothing to pay. We talk style and price together.
Halfway done
You see the work, then you pay in full at the salon.
You leave
You check your style in the mirror before heading out.
One exception: early-morning slots before 8 AM need a half-price deposit the night before, by Zelle to (773) 801-9351 only.
Your comfort, in six points
Most of these exist for one reason only: so you walk out with a hairstyle you love, and a scalp that feels good.
Allergies: tell us first
If you are allergic to any product or type of hair extension, let us know before the very first braid. We will adapt what we use so your scalp stays safe.
Too tight? Say it right away
Braids should never hurt. If anything feels too tight, tell your stylist during the service rather than after. We loosen it on the spot, no awkwardness.
Check your style before you leave
Take a minute in front of the mirror before you head out. If something is not quite right, we fix it there and then, while you are still in the chair.
Free adjustments for 24 hours
Need a tweak once you are home? Adjustments are free of charge within 24 hours of your appointment. After that, a small additional charge applies.
Photos: always your call
We sometimes share photos and videos of finished hairstyles on our social media. If you would rather not appear, just tell us before or after your appointment and nothing gets posted.
A calm place
The salon is a quiet, family space where everyone comes to relax. We keep voices low so every client enjoys the same peaceful atmosphere.
